spooky

I took this with my cell phone today.

Imagine living here. The owner of this brownstone has been featured in newspapers and magazines. Apart from the gargoyles, which are permanently affixed to the outside, this homeowner goes all out for Halloween. That ghostly figure is so lifelike.

Did you ever see a ghost?

On 18th between 1st and 2nd avenues....south side of street, middle of block.

And for something really scary, check out Marc Jacobs window on Bleeker Street....TOTALLY AMAZING ANIMATED MANNEQUINS.

It is in the East Village?

Last year, there was a guy there who featured dolls of aborted babies and people burning in hell as his Halloween decorations, which infuriated his neighbors. Police was called to the resident but there is nothing anyone can do. It was his private property and he can darn well display anything he wants.
